Moon/King, Thomas Dane Gallery

Thomas Dane Gallery in collaboration with Luhring Augustine, presented Moon/King, an exhibition intermixing for the first time the work of Phillip King and Jeremy Moon. King and Moon first met in 1956 at Cambridge, whilst they were living on the same street: King was studying modern languages and Moon, law. They both became artists at the same time and remained close friends until Moon’s death in 1973. The exhibition intermixed large works at 3 Duke Street St James, and small works and drawings, and a large sculpture by Moon at 11 Duke Street St James.
